Solar panels have been around for years but the technology and manufacturing processes have advanced quite considerably in the last five years this gives rise to many more options than were previously available, whether it be an in roof system or on roof system with new panel design means you will be able to harvest much more energy than has previously been achievable giving you a better yield year on year. The size of the system will be dictated by the roof space available orientation or your property and the amount of shading that is present during the suns orbit. Most high efficiency panels like the ones we install are backed by a 25-30 year product warranty and a 30 year linear power warranty with an average of 87.5% efficiency still at 25 yrs which is remarkable compared to older solar panels and also means the system will pay for itself in typically 6-8 years depending on certain factors. The panels we install include Solar Optimisers so you will never have a problem with one panel reducing the efficiency of the others on that string, these electrical modules know when one panel is experiencing more shading or has lost performance than and the rest of the string will remove that portion of the generation so the Solar array is working to maximum efficiency. They can also identify if a panel is damaged and aid in fault finding.
